I will teach you to expand your playing beyond the basics, to stretch yourself beyond the blues scale and to reach new heights way up the fretboard.

In addition, my lessons look at the whole process of being a performing artist. From stagecraft and conquering stagefright, through songwriting and bassline "hooks" to advice on recording, booking venues and just about anything else you can think to ask!

Musical instrument teachers tend not to advertise their rates on their websites, but most teachers come at roughly the same price. As you might expect, I work slightly differently.
The first difference is that your lesson can be at any location of your choice, although most people prefer to learn at home. Please note, I am based in Wigston, so I try to work only within Leicester and Leicestershire.
Your lesson rates are worked out according to what works best between us both. If I have to travel a long distance to get to you, the hourly charge will naturally be a little higher, but wherever you are my lessons almost always work out better value than anywhere else. Discounts are also available for block bookings.
